Dear Bishop David and Benita
Greetings and best wish to you, Benita and the Christians at this time of lent. Mama Agnes and I are in Juba with our children. Our elderly daughter and our younger son called Kamani have signed out from their universities ready for graduations late this month and October this year. We thank God for such a blessing from God  in our family.
In a very especial note, would like to invite your prayers for Lay-Reader Nora Ahmed and her six children. Nora is a sister to Mama Agnes Kamani. She is from a Muslim background. She became a Christian together with her six children after the death of her husband in 2010. Since the death of her husband, she has been struggling with her children   taking care of them and it has become a huge burden on her. She says she is always under stress when she recalls the challenges she is undergoing.
She said this situation forced her to move to the camp in Uganda hoping that the United Nation would assist her so that these children would get access to studies. While in the camp she finds that there  other denominations that  have scholarships; these scholarships are being t offered on the condition that one has to denounce his/her faith to join thier faith but she said she can't go any where, her conversion from Muslim to Christian ( Anglican Church) is enough.
Nora meet me and was able to share her story with me. She requested me to   prayer for her and her children. She said, through all the ongoing difficult is experiencing, her son Daffalah and two sisters have  finished Secondary Schools but now due to economic crisis they are unable to continue with their  studies.
As this is a time of intercessions,,  I invite prayers for this woman so that she may continue to stand her ground as a faithful Christian during difficult timed.  May the face of our  good Lord also shines on her so that she may achieve her vision for her children.
