The Online Bible Reading Marathon begins on Palm Sunday, March 29 at 1:00 p.m. (MST) and will continue uninterrupted until Maundy Thursday, April 2 at 4:00 p.m. (MST).
You are warmly invited to sign up for a one-hour Bible reading session and take part in this meaningful time of shared Scripture.

St. Andrew's Zion Church in Colinton is starting the second season of The Chosen. Please join the congregation for supper and a movie.
You are invited to join the Rev. Dr. Maryann Amor and the Rev. Nick Trussell for an upcoming Lay Reader training cohort for both new and returning lay readers in the Diocese of Athabasca and the Diocese of Edmonton.
All are welcome to participate in the online sessions, held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., beginning April 7 and concluding May 5. While the content will be geared toward new lay readers, the participation of longtime or returning lay readers is greatly valued as we learn and grow together.

The next Diocesan Synod for the Diocese of Athabasca will be held October 15 - 18, 2026 in Peace River, Alberta.
October 15 & 18 - St. James Cathedral, Peace River - opening and closing services
October 16 & 17 - Chateau Nova, Peace River - business of synod
The keynote speaker for the synod is The Most Rev. Shane Parker, Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada.
