Here are some events that are happening across the diocese.
This Advent—our four week Dwelling in the Word sessions begin on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, 12 noon, at St, Bartholomew's Church. Dwelling in the Word is an ancient way of listening to scripture together and will bring us into the Advent Season reflective and more connected to scripture and to our God. Lunch is provided and we will have you back on your way to work or wherever you need to be by 1pm.
Join us every Wednesday in Advent for an online study based on Kate Bowler’s The Weary World Rejoices. Together, we’ll explore how joy can rise even in weary seasons and how Advent invites us into renewed hope.

You are invited to join in the Advent study with Shane. The lessons with be on Thursday evenings starting on November 27 @ 7:15 pm and will be each Thursday following in Advent.

St. Mark’s invites you to a Live Nativity Service with fellowship, refreshments, and the joyful retelling of the Christmas story. Everyone is welcome!
Guests are welcome to take part by singing, reading, or dressing up—costumes are available for angels, shepherds, and kings.
Come celebrate the season with us in community, story, and song.
You are invited the community Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols on Sunday, December 7, 2025 starting at 6:00 pm. The event is brought to you by the West County Ministerial Association. The congregation of St. Luke's Anglican Church will be leading the worship. The event is hosted at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Beaverlodge located at 1107 1 Ave, Beaverlodge.

There are all kinds of items to offer or bake, including breads, jams, marmalades, cookies, squares, cakes, pies, fudge, and candies. Gluten-free and specialty treats are also welcome.
Pickup and exchange will be on Sunday, December 21, 2025, or by arrangement.
