Prayer for the DioceseHeavenly Father, we lift up the Anglican Diocese of Athabasca to you for this coming week.
We pray your abundant blessings upon Bishop David Greenwood, along with all the clergy, lay workers, and parish members across northern Alberta. Fill them with bold love and a unified purpose as they serve their local communities.
Lord, we ask for your special grace upon the upcoming Diocesan BUILD Camp happening this weekend. Watch over all the campers, volunteers, and leaders as they travel. Grant them safety, open hearts, and refreshing rest. May every camper be deeply transformed and firmly Built Upon Incredible Love Daily.
We also ask you to guide the leadership and congregations in their ongoing preparations for the upcoming Diocesan Synod in Peace River. Grant wisdom and clarity to everyone involved in planning this gathering.
Keep your light shining brightly in every parish from the urban centres to the rural communities. Comfort the weary, heal the hurting, and remind us all of your daily faithfulness.
We ask this in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Prayer for the Diocesan Camp 2026Heavenly Father,
We lift up the diocesan BUILD camp happening this coming weekend. We thank you for the reminder that our lives, families, and communities are Built Upon Incredible Love Daily—your love, which never fails.
Lord, we ask that you pour out your blessings upon every person, family, volunteer, and leader gathering together. May this weekend be a masterclass in your grace. Help us to dismantle the distractions of everyday life and reconstruct our hearts on the firm foundation of your truth.
As we fellowship, play, and pray together, remind us of the incredible love you offer us each day. Give the organizers and speakers your wisdom to guide us. Give the parents patience, the children joyful hearts, and everyone a spirit of unity.
Protect everyone during their travels. Keep the camp safe and filled with laughter. May the bonds formed this weekend strengthen our entire diocesan family, so that we return to our local parishes ready to BUILD up your Kingdom.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

There is a form to fill out if you wish to share meals with the delegates. Registration Forms and Fees due to Synod Office by September 1, 2026.
