Prayer for the DioceseLet's put ourselves into the hands of the Lord, and pray that God will bless us, our families, our parishes, and our diocese during the wonderful months of summer. May we all help make our community a place of relaxation, joy, love, peace and safety. May we be generous and considerate, not thinking only about ourselves, but helping others enjoy the blessings of summertime. Lord God, Creator of all things, guide our steps and strengthen our hearts, during these months of summer and vacation days. Grant us refreshment of mind and body. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Prayer for Camp 2025 As we prepare for this year's TASTE Camp let's thank God for all that he is going to do! We thank him for every adult, youth, and child that will be attending the camp. We also thank Him for the opportunity to serve with our brothers and sisters in Christ, ministering to each other and sharing God's love for us with others. In Jesus' name we pray, amen. |

Diocesan Camp 2025Dear Friends in Christ, This summer, the Diocese of Athabasca invites you to TASTE Camp 2025, happening July 31–August 3 at Camp Artaban. This joyful, barrier-free family camp will bring together people of all ages for a weekend of faith, fun, and fellowship. Our theme—TASTE: Trust, Act, See, Try, Explore—is inspired by Psalm 34:8: “Taste and see that the Lord is good!” Participants will enjoy meals, worship, music, crafts, outdoor adventures, and age-appropriate programming for children, youth, and adults. Special guests will be joining us to make this a truly memorable diocesan gathering. Please donate by June 28, 2025. There is a matching grant for the first $1000.00 donated to our camp.

TASTE Camp Donation Deadline - June 30, 2025The matching grant deadline for our 'Say Yes to Kids' campaign is ending soon. If you are planning to come to our TASTE Camp, the diocesan family summer camp this year please donate by June 30. You can still donate later but there is a matching grant that from the 'Say Yes to Kids' campaign with a deadline of June 30. So, please donate and support the camp or a family going to the camp. Suggested donation is $75/family. As of June 25 we have raised $1500 of our $5000 goal. Click on the picture to donate. |
