Prayer for the DioceseAlmighty God, who is our strength and our refuge; be with those who are besieged by fire, guide those who evacuate so that they may find care and comfort in a safe place; protect their homes and their pets, their neighbors and their friends, so that they may return home to a loving community. We ask this in the name of Jesus your son, who abides with you and with the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Prayer for Camp 2025 Gracious and loving God, we pray that our TASTE Camp will truly be a time when our diocese comes together to be united and inspired in our shared work of continuing the work of Jesus. AMEN. |

Doing and Saying CourseIn recent weeks, as I have traveled with the bishop around the diocese, there have been requests from a variety of people about Bible study. For almost three years a group of people have been getting together with the bishop weekly as 'guinea pigs' to discuss and explore. The bishop has been creating a course called "Doing & Saying". If you are interested in looking at what he and the group have been doing you can find the course material on the diocesan website. Go to Resources and choose Courses. There you will find a link to the "Doing & Saying" material. Or you can click on the picture above to go right there. (This takes a bit of time to load.) |

THANK YOU TO OUR CHURCH WOMENBishop Wilson Kamani of Ibba wrote to give his greetings from our brothers and sisters in Ibba, and to thank our diocese with immense gratitude for a recent donation, $1065 of which came from our Anglican Church Women, donated at their recent diocesan conference. Bishop Wilson is dedicating this donation for peace and reconciliation work within Ibba, as the situation has become increasingly tenuous with Communal violence remaining the primary driver of conflict in South Sudan. Bishop Wilson has for several years spearheaded encounters where opposing groups can gather together for discussion, prayer, political discussions, and to engage each other as neighbours through activities like football (our soccer).
Please continue to pray for Bishop Wilson, Mama Agnes, and their ministry of peace amongst the people of South Sudan.
